Winged Eyeliner. . .
Do we love it?
D.I.Y: According to the pro's over at Essence.com
"Begin lining from the middle of your eye to the outer corner, and then wing up from the outer edge. Go over your creation once or twice and follow with several coats of mascara for an everlasting finish.'
Create the look with a neutral shadow such as Make Up For Ever Eyeshadow in Beige 76, $18, at Sephora.com on the lid. Next, use a soft or liquid black pencil such as MAC Cosmetics Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline, $14.50, at Maccosmetics.com. "
Model Makeover: The Winged Eye with a little less drama.
Model: Crystal.

I remember a couple of yrs ago, I went out w/ some friends and I wanted to do something like a 'cat' eye...and I used MAC Fluidline in Blk. And I used it with the 208 brush from MAC and it went on like a charm... I used a metallic silver eyeshadow and I got compliments on it all night ;) I haven't created that look in a while. And for some reason when I try, one eye comes out looking different...lol.
GLAD YOU'RE BACK!!
Hi There! I recently joined the Blogs by Black Women RingSurf. I'm excited about meeting other African American women bloggers. I invite you to visit Sojourner's Place. The doors are always open there.
And just a reminder, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Come by and let us know when you got yours (smile).
